Hello Friends,
First, great news- Dr. Baker got a new tomb to work on with her students! Sad news- we only have two more weeks here at the site. However, working on a tomb is better then no tomb at all. We did find some cool Greek pottery pieces!
Today I got a new partner for tomb survey- my friend/roommate Kelly. We explored the bottom of our sector and didn’t find anything. Instead we got turned around countless of times and almost got lost! It was a fun! Later in the afternoon we headed back to the sector to see if we could find any more tombs that we might have missed in the morning. We rocked out to my Disney playlist while we searched and fell a few times. We also got cuts and all kinds of tree sticks in our hair. Yuck! I got really sad when I ripped my favorite shirt falling :(( It’s ok though, I sewed it back up.
We had no presentations or lecture tonight so Greta, Lama, Kristen, Emily and I all went to dinner outside the walls. We found some great food and talked about everyones first impressions of each other. Good times!!
